Marmaris Castle: Marmaris Castle, which was built as a port city and protects and monitors Marmaris from dangers, is one of the historical places to visit in Marmaris . New walls, towers and bastions were added to the Marmaris Castle, which is estimated to have been built before Christ and to be expanded by adding new sections in the future, during the reign of Suleiman the Magnificent, before the Rhodes expedition of 1522. Marmaris Museum, which was opened to visitors in 1991, is also located in the castle.
